1. Don’t make the dance floor too large?   Having a large space to dance makes it feel empty, and none wants to be the only person in the party.  Keep it a little tight.   A filled dance floor feel much more like a party and a lot more guests will want to try out those dancing shoes if the party is happening right in front of them.
2. Keep the bar near by.  Once your party goers have a few drinks, the party moves really come out.   If you locate the bar in another room, your DJ is going to be losing people as they go to get those refills.  Keep it close so that’s don’t have to leave.
3. Play all different types of music.   A great Knoxville Disc Jockey is going to read the crowd and play a little bit for everyone.  It’s about keeping everyone entertained.

7. Get down!   Party hosts should be leading the charge.   Get out there and dance!
8. Lights are important.  Make sure the venue can dim their lights.   No-one ever dances in bright lights.  And even better, have the DJ bring some dance floor lighting.  The moving lights can bring more excitement to the party.
9. Make it exciting with Music Videos.   Add another dimension to the party by having your DJ mix music videos instead of sound only.   Your party goers will love seeing new and classic footage and even better, dancing with the original artists themselves.
