We have had the pleasure of entertaining at Hunter Valley Farm in the past, and let me tell you it’s a fantastic venue. Nancy Barger and her team really go all out, not only with the venue and it’s appearance, but also with the event coordination.
Luckily I had the chance to recently learn more from Nancy about her venue. Not only do they offer the Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm, but they also offer a super hip location called the Stables.
The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm opened its doors in May of 2008 by Becky Thornton and Nancy Barger. Nestled on fifty-seven pristine acres, the Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm is a local lakefront beauty. Located in the heart of West Knoxville, their 6,000 square foot glass-enclosed pavilion offers unlimited possibilities for any event. It features 4,800 square feet of heated and cooled open floor space, oversized restrooms with dressing areas, and a spacious caterer’s kitchen. Trust me, those locations come in real handy. Their patio overlooks beautiful Bluegrass Lake, while their oversized deck boasts an outdoor fireplace complete with comfy seating. They even offer a more intimate dock perfect for enjoying a cocktail and chatting with friends. The venue is a photographer’s dream, giving tons of options for the perfect photo background. The Beach at Hunter Valley connects to their large, bistro-lit landing great for outdoor events such as rehearsal dinners, cocktail hours, and luaus! Yes, she says even luaus!
The landing leads to our amphitheater with benches built into the hillside and a large deck for ceremonies, concerts, and presentations. The Pavilion offers hands-on service, available to coordinate all functions and even direct wedding ceremonies. They even have a cool onsite floral shop called “Swank, A Floral Design Co.” The name basically says it all.
